The Security Guard will be responsible for securing premises, assets, and personnel to ensure a safe environment within the City of Ekurhuleni. Key duties include access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and assisting during emergencies. The role requires PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C), a Basic Security Course, and at least one year of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises, assets and personnel to ensure safe and secure environment
• Perform access control functions to provide visible presence that enforces safety and security
• Execute administration functions to ensure efficient and effective administration processes
• Report and assist during emergencies and maintain control during emergencies
• Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and equipment in order to prevent crime and theft and protect the safety and property of the CoE

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification
• Basic Security Course (PSIRA)
• No criminal record or illicit activity recorded
• Registered as Security Officer with PSIRA at least Grade C
• Grade A will be an added advantage
• 1 years' experience in Security
